It's now Official: The 2014 Dahlgren Heritage Rail Trail 50km had the fastest 50km winning times in the United States for an course entirely on dirt.
Michael Wardian's 3:10:26 was the 8th fastest 50km with the 7 faster all run on roads.
Gina Slaby's 3:39:26 was the 4th fastest 50km with the 3 faster times run on roads or courses with substantial paved segments.
Registration is now open for the 2015 race at http://www.racetimingunlimited.org/R/DHRT/Info.aspx
The first 30 runners to register on-line prior to March 1 will receive a special price, as low as $60 for the first to register.
Race is at 6:30am on Saturday August 1, 2015 starting and finishing at the Rt 605 Trailhead on the Dahlgren Railroad Heritage Trail.
